What can you say about Dave's BBQ in Virginia Beach? This is the place where being speechless is a complement because you're taste buds are too busy enjoying this metaphoric amusement park called, "Barbecue Land!" On my three meat platter, there's a lot to ride. We're talking about pork ribs, turkey, and pulled pork. I originally wanted the brisket, but the person said they were running low on it, but I think he sneaked in a little sample and it was tender and a little fatty with the right balance of that smokey taste. It was really good! The pork ribs were tender and juicy, the turkey was a delight and the pulled pork was delicious. A person told me they smoke their meat for 12 hours and seeing a barbecue place with smokers outside was a good sign! Inside was cozy but small, but you could eat your meal outside on the picnic tables during the nice weather! The banana pudding was a comforting piece of joy and beats my bottle of Pepsi in the sweet contest! I highly recommend this place! Delicious! Also, the beans had a hint of sweetness to it and the potato salad was a delight.
