Judging from the sign at the front, the advice is never judge a book from its cover!
Like my friend who recommended me this place, I had to be like him and overlook the humble exterior.
Because, inside I was greeted with a warm vibe with pleasant customers and staff members with a busy kitchen.
It had a small town diner vibe, yet it was established in a pretty sizable city known as Norfolk.
Down to earth, comforting and family friendly was the atmosphere established inside which one wouldn't guess from the outside.
It was like I walked into a pleasant secret.
What I got was the "Little Creek Special" and a friend pointed out that, for what I got, it was worth the price.
The quantity of my meal could've easily been 21 bucks, but the price said $11.95! Crazy affordable!
It had two eggs (mine was cooked over hard), 2 pancakes, 2 slices of French Toasts, 2 strips of bacon and 2 sausage links.
Everything tasted like they should be tasted! Bacon was crispy but not overly salty! Pancakes were relatively big, but soft. The French Toast was a sweet delight. The sausage was tender and the eggs were good! Add a dash of Log Cabin syrup, and I was having a wonderful time eating my morning meal!
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the coffee was freshly grinded! That was impressive!
Look pass the sign, look pass the door, and enjoy this place that shouldn't be a secret to you or anyone!
