Burger

The bacon burger from Salmich's Burgers & Hoagies is definitely one of the better quality versions of the American classic in Norfolk.

Complete with a really thick burger patty, onions, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce and bacon among other things, you will sit there for a while to finish this huge handful.

The melted cheese really drapes over the ground beef as the bacon brings in more flavor to this burger. I had it medium well and the portion serving size would make the Burger King Whopper jealous.

Overall, a recommendation if you're looking for a burger on Little Creek Road.

Wings

Salmich's Burgers & Hoagies should also add wings to their name because I don't think it's a mistake to say that this meal entree is almost perfect.

Covered in its own special "mich" sauce, these wings were served with a slight crispy skin texture which gives it a little crunch as you chew on the tenderly cooked chicken meat.

The flavor had a little bit of spice and sweetness well balanced and not overbearing. Honestly, in my opinion, the wings tasted so good that ranch wasn't needed. When I tried it with ranch, it only improved it by a little, but you wouldn't miss the added sauce.

The size of the flats and the drums were a little bigger than usual. Each piece was packed with a ton of meat as if you were chewing on little turkey legs.

If you're looking for really delicious chicken wings, then you couldn't go wrong visiting this place. You would crave more of it!

Cheesesteak

Even though the name of the place is called, "Salmich's Burgers & Hoagies," who knew that they also serve really good cheese steaks?

I was pleasantly surprised. The cheesesteak was presented to me in a neat fashion. It wasn't messy and I wasn't afraid that it might fall apart if I picked it up.

The meat was tender while being covered by melted cheese and the bun was soft and chewy.

Overall, you can keep a clean shirt while enjoying this meal and it's guaranteed to make you full since there is so much meat packed inside the two slices of bread.
