Think of a modern day bakeshop with a nice warm and welcoming atmosphere that can rival a Disney World theme park restaurant. 

That's exactly what Tou les Jours brings you; especially, in Newport News, VA.

And, like Disney World, it's busy that day when I went there. But gratefully, there is no expensive ticket.

Instead, you get neatly displayed pastries and other sweets greeting you and begging you to be picked up with your clamps and put on your tray.

Think cafeteria style, you choose and you pay, and maybe, you do it again.

It's not just desserts though. They also have hot meals like these tiny little hotdogs served inside this crust.

It wasn't too salty and easy to bite into. The flavor was pronounced like one of the best hotdogs you'll ever have as it complemented its own breading. No mustard or ketchup required.

The apple pie was a nice friendly greeting of joy, but not over powered in sugar. It's a nice balance of flakey goodness with a nice and sweet flavor of deliciousness.

I was also offered this dessert that resembled an egg. Don't let that fool you though, because what I saw was an apricot on top of a whip cream held together by this soft bread. It had a nice subtle sweetness, as well, which paired with the cream well.

An impressive place from a company that started from Korea! They understood what makes the ideal bake shop and their homework paid off! Go there for the good food and for the wonderful atmosphere! Oh, and according to their website, they also serve sandwiches!
